I think I was a relatively hands on bride when it came to the planning and decor and Syd was a dream to work with. She collaborated when we needed ideas, took control when I was lost, and let me fly when I wanted to have full control. She gave us gentle reminders to keep to our schedule and guided us when we had absolutely no idea what we were doing.
She has an incredible laid back demeanor, which... let me tell you.. is the most necessary thing on your wedding day. Sorry, but no one needs another high strung person running around making you feel stressed out on your day. Syd kept things so cool and was totally on her A game the entire night.
She pays attention to all of the details. Decor, yes - but also she knows her clients and their social habits (ie she knew I wouldn't eat, even though I said I would, so she made me a plate of my favorite items from the buffet and even saved me a gluten free dessert at the end of the night because she knew I didn't have any!!!)
I could go on and on... but simply put, my wedding was everything I wanted it to be, and it's because I had Syd behind the scenes. I'm so grateful for her!
